• Only 1% of Christ-followers work for a congregation or a faith-based non-profit.

• 99% of Christ-followers are strategically deployed into the workforce to show God's nature through their excellence and God's Love through their relationships.

• We spend over 30% of our life at work.

• Only 5% of working Christ-followers are Faith Active at Work.

• Many Christians have not been equipped or connected to bring their Sunday faith to Monday work.

Solution:

• Equip Christian's to be Faith Active at Work, moving the needle from 5% to 100%

Strategy:

• Asset Map Faith Active at Work individuals throughout Greater Dayton:

  • Statistically, in Montgomery County - 12,500 Christ-Followers (out of 250,000) are Faith Active at Work. This means they feel confident and capable of integrating their faith with their craft, colleagues, and those they serve.

  • See workplace networks catalog/list and individual posts

• Identify national networks and local network leader core teams

• Core teams strategize a thriving network of increased friendship and excellence

  • Incorporate "winning at home first" and caring "for those whom our hearts break" into network strategy

• Connect workplace network leaders together cross-sector for sustainability and shared learning

• Create a city-wide faith at work network following and calendar

• Create city-wide partnerships:

  • Connect with campus ministry leaders, faculty ministry, and nearby Christian Colleges and Universities to connect college students to local Faith at Work networks and national sector-based associations and mentors

  • Connect with high school youth pastors and Christian High School's to help students get a vision and develop connections to integrate their faith at work in college

  • Connect with congregational leaders and pastors to equip them in helping their congregants be faith active at work

• Gather all Christians in Greater Dayton for a Large Faith at Work Gathering (6,000 people)

• Connect with other faith at work city-leaders who are strategizing in their own cities:

  • Denver, Charlotte, Chicago, etc.
